A LARGER VERSION OF OUR MINI TRAY.
The term “decoupage” comes from the French découper, meaning
"to cut out." The decorative art of decoupage is a revival of an art form that flourished in 18th-century Europe.
This style of “classic” decoupage consisted
primarily of hand-colored prints of the day cut out
and pasted onto furniture or other furnishings, then
sealed under many coats of finish. The antique
illustrations on our ceramic-coated stoneware trays
are protected by a layer of cured resin.
